The difference between the different type of MWR Airfilters in detail

1) The Performance air filter (the product codes of these have no "HE" or "R" at the end) - This filter has excellent performance and offers max. protection. This is not a copy of the std. filter. MWR are always searching for solutions, either in it’s the performance, protection or fitment.

Caution: clean and re-oil at least once a year with MWR air filter oil & cleaner. In countries around the Equator with extremely high temperatures and extremely high humidity, road engine filters must be serviced at least twice a year. Remapping the ECU or the Fuel Control Module is recommended.

2) The High Efficiency air filter (the product codes of these have "HE" at the end) - These filters are for road & race bikes, designed for inlet noise reduction. The revolutionary High Efficiency Air filter is designed to reduce intake noise and yet delivers more power. This design of air filter has shown a reduction of up to 8db of intake noise compared to other sports filters. Unlike with all other sports filters all velocity stacks will get the same quantity of air, regardless of the speed of the motorcycle or wind direction. No different fuel-mappings between internal & external or front & rear cylinders are needed, this will be achieved by tuning each cylinder separate.

3) The Full Race air filter (the product codes of these have "R" at the end) - These have been developed on the track, developed for race bikes NOT for road bikes. The development was done NOT on a dyno but in a real life scenario using bikes with Dataloggers for the ultimate performance. Due to new materials and design protection is on the same level as the filters above, only for a shorter time. Unlike with all other sports filters all velocity stacks will get the same quantity of air, regardless of the speed of the motorcycle or wind direction. No different fuel-mappings between internal & external or front & rear cylinders are needed, this will be achieved by tuning each cylinder separate.

Caution : The Full Race air filter protects 100% but for a short period of time, check your filter after each race weekend, use only MWR filter oil & cleaner. Make sure you start each race weekend with a well-oiled filter. This air filter is not developed to reduce the inlet noise. Remapping the ECU or the Fuel Control Module is highly recommended.

Had one after the Raceways lads told me about them. Does a great job bike feels faster and picks up no end. Raceways use them in BSS doesn't get any better than that.

Got told a LOT of road race lads are using these them in R6's so i ahd one. Fits nice, induction noise is a little quieter but the new pipe makes up for that. Made a couple of horses over and above a n other filter i tested back to back with the new set up.
