MWR Airfilters

MWR airfilters is built upon almost 20 years of experience in developing and producing high performance airfilters. This experience has been gained through working at some of the biggest airfilter companies in Europe in areas such as World MX, Dakar (bikes, cars and trucks), Moto GP, WSB, BSB, AMA and even Rallycross. In this 20 year period our search for the very best materials and constant quest for knowledge has driven us on into developing the MWR airfilter.

This development has been ongoing each year with MWR airfilters working with world champions, national champions and factory teams around the world in furthering the knowledge and skills needed to bring you the very best in air filtration and performance

This development has not only been about striving for ultimate engine performance but also about having a filter that is easy to fit, clean and look after. Our development has also concentrated on looking after the environment with a biodegradable filter oil being specially made for MWR.

  • Specific performance foam airfilters for motorcycles
  • Handmade in the Netherlands.
  • Made of top quality materials ( FR Foam , stainles steel and aluminium )
  • Made entirely from this special Fire Resistant (FR) foam
  • Improved trackside with MWR supported teams around the world
  • Best possible protection from dirt and dust for your engine.

The difference between our roadbike and racebike filters

The foam material of our racingfilters have a much more open structure compared to the roadfilters foam material which makes the duration of the maintainance much shorter , the protection is at the same level as our roadbike filters but for a shorter time , therefore the maintainance is much more intensive. Maintainance frequency for racebike filters are afther every two raceweekends. Therefore are racebike filters are NOT suiteable for roadbikes

Our roadbike filters have a recommended maintainance frecuency of once a year …. regardless the milage .

Even when you have ridden 50 miles that year stick to the guidelines , priority for the filter is that the foam must not dry out , keep it “wet” from oil

In countries around the Equator with high tempature and high himidity , the frequence must shortend to twice a year . Racebike filter can stay with the normal frequency of maintainance

Only MWR Biodegradable filteroil and Biodegradable filters cleaner may be used to protect the filter also from backfire.

Different solutions for different purposes

This development has not only been about striving for ultimate engine performance but also about having a filter that is easy to fit, clean and look after.  Our development has also concentrated on looking after the environment with a biodegradable filter oil being specially made for MWR.

 DB MEASUREMENTS

On this page you will find db measurements from around the world of motorfans who install a MWR High Efficient airfilter in there bike.

We want to collect as much information about this subject as possible.Iff you install a MWR High Efficient airfilter and can get the hold on db measurements, send them to us and we will put them on this page. We are only intrested in the Dynamic Measurments because this system measures the intake noise.

If you have information for us and want to send it to us
